This listing is for motor repair & refurbishment, assuming that you already have the motor out of the car - If you don't and your roof is dead, I CAN repair it WITHOUT removing the roof for £195 all in, please see my other items for details of this service.
IF you have already gotten the motor out, I CAN repair it and send it back to you working like new, for less than HALF of what other sellers want on Ebay for a used/reconditioned motor. Tracked return postage is with Royal Mail, and I aim to turn these around the same day they are received.
PLEASE SEND JUST THE MOTOR AND NOT THE PUMP, AS ROYAL MAIL WILL KICK UP A FUSS AND DESTROY IT IF OIL LEAKS OUT! THE MOTOR IS FIXED TO THE PUMP WITH TWO 4MM HEX BOLTS - UNDO THESE AND PULL IT APART, WITH THE PLASTIC RESERVOIR AT THE BOTTOM ON A TABLE, OTHERWISE THE INTERNALS WILL FALL OUT OF THE PUMP AND YOU MAY LOSE THE PINS! THEN REMOVE THE PLASTIC WHEEL FROM THE PUMP WITH LONG NOSED PLIERS, DON'T LOSE THE SMALL FLAT SPRING, AND PUT IT ALL TO ONE SIDE, SENDING ME THE MOTOR ONLY. ADDRESS DETAILS ARE AT THE BOTTOM OF LISTING.
The attached pictures show the condition of a recently repaired motor. This was completely dead, and seized at both end bearings. Upon stripping it, there was corrosion and destroyed tracks on the circuit board. It was successfully repaired and returned to full working order.

Classic telltale symptoms of a waterlogged/seized motor are;
You press the "lower" button, and the roof unlatches from the windscreen, but then nothing happens, no motor noise, and usually a flashing red light - 99.9% of the time, this is due to a water damaged/seized motor!
To date, I have done over 200 of these, and I have successfully repaired EVERY SINGLE ONE!
